My chosen medium is watercolour and my sketch books are the foundation for my finished paintings. Some of my earlier paintings have been copied from other artists' work which has helped me to improve and develop new techniques.
I mainly work from my own photographic images, and sketch books. I am lucky to live within the beautiful and wild Yorkshire Dales, where the landscape is a constant inspiration. I was also a member of the Kendal Art Society and a current member of the Sedbergh Art Society who run demonstrations, workshops and have a summer exhibitions where I can exhibit and sell my paintings. I also exhibited and sell my paintings at Farfield Mill in Sedbergh.
