The weather in March was just a continuation of that of February and I did no sketching out in the open but continued with some sketches from my archive of photos and from my iPhone pics of my morning walks with our collie dog Peggy. I’ve also become the dungeon master for the Kendal Art Society Web Site and I’ve spent a considerable amount of time looking at and loading other artist work onto the web site. All this has reminded me that I need to think about starting work on paintings for the KAS summer exhibition in Kendal. I’m still finding watercolour challenging and find it difficult to move to other medium. However, although I keep trying to loosen up with my watercolours I still like to draw and this is reflected in my paintings.
