I'm still managing to do 1 drawing, painting or sketch per week, the sketch show opposite was an exercise in pencil without drawing any lines. I've added a few more copies of some of Arthur Rackham's sketches which I find very good drawing practice. Somehow I need to find some local features in the Yorkshire Dales around the Ingleton Waterfalls and or the Three Peak for them to live in, I know of a very good troll bridge and some good cave entrances as well as some strange rock formations.
I've asked my kids to get me a book of Arthur Rackham's Fairy Tails as a Christmas present which they find rather amusing.
I still don't know where all this is taking me re what style could be identified as a John Conway painting? Only time will tell.
